Sovereign 30 Account - Issue Three
Our Sovereign 30 Account is designed to enhance the rate of interest for your clients’ savings where they do not require immediate access to their funds.
The minimum opening deposit is £5,000 per account.
The Account allows clients to make an unlimited number of withdrawals free of charge, provided that they are able to give us 30 days’ notice.
As an added feature of this account, we also allow one ‘without notice' withdrawal free of charge each calendar year of up to £2,500 if the account balance is greater than £5,000. Any additional ‘without notice' withdrawals will be subject to a charge equivalent to 30 days' interest on the amount withdrawn.
As a further benefit, clients can select to have the monthly interest credited to another linked account so that it may be accessed more easily (providing the balance remains over £10,000). Interest is only paid on balances that remain at £5,000 or more.

How to apply
It is vital that every client, whether applying for a Cater Allen account directly with us or via a financial adviser or intermediary, fully understands the account, the interest rates and the relevant Terms and Conditions before submitting the application.
All clients must:
- Read and print or save all the below documents this must include the FSCS - Information Sheet and Exclusions List
- Visit the interest rates page relevant to the Account
- View the banking tariff
- Complete, print and sign the application form
- Post the form to us along with all necessary ID
Each application will usually be processed within 5 days of us receiving it as long as the application is completed correctly and accompanied by all required documents.
