Here's some FAQ’s for intermediaries to help you complete our digital business application form.
Getting started
The first person added in the 'Personal details' section or within the save and retrieve screen.
No, you'll need to complete an online application for each account type.
System navigation
Yes. You can 'Save and Exit' throughout the application. You can come back into the application for up to 30 days.
Click on the unique link received in your confirmation email.
Yes, once submitted, you will be shown a reference number on screen that you can use in any discussions with us.
Completing the application
After the 'Additional applicants' question, the application is emailed to your client to review the declaration, Data Protection statement and client acceptance questions.
You'll get an email saying the client has confirmed their application with a unique link on to access the application.
No, you'll now see the questions and answers in plain text format, and you can no longer edit the fields.
Yes, your client should review all the information you gave, correct anything that's incorrect and complete any mandatory missing fields.
They'll receive an email with a unique link to access their application.
They agree to the regulatory wording, accept the terms and conditions and sends the application back to you to submit.
You'll both receive an email.
Identification
Intermediaries will get a submission confirmation email which contains a unique link to upload ID.
No, but some other supporting documents might. You can find out more in our Customer identification requirements form.

What happens next?
Your client will receive a letter through the post. You can view the new account number in your Intermediary Portal (if registered).
Yes. Cards will be automatically issued where eligible.
No. They can order a chequebook through Internet Banking, secure messaging, or by calling us.
