Our interest rate changes

On 18 December 2025 the Bank of England base rate went down from 4.00% to 3.75%.

Some of our accounts have a variable interest rate. This means they can go up and down. You can see which account rates are changing in the tables below.

The Personal Notice 35 Account (Issue 5) interest rate is available for all accounts that are open by close of business on 14 January 2026. For any accounts opened from 15 January 2026 onwards, the Personal Notice 35 Account (Issue 6) interest rate will apply.
