Current account transaction history

We will provide you with up to 5 years of transaction history on closure of your account.

This is already available to you if you have access to Internet Banking and you have not been informed that the recent Internet Banking changes have gone live for your account. You will be able to download 5 years of transaction history by logging in, viewing your closed account and downloading your transactions.

If you are using the new Internet Banking system or you don’t use Internet Banking, you will need to request this information by calling us on 0800 092 3300.

If you would like this transaction history in another format, you can also request this by calling us on 0800 092 3300.

You can request this information for up to 5 years after the date of your account closure but in this case, we will only provide you with transaction history for the period when your account was open in the 5 years before your request.

Please note, we are not required to provide transaction history in any of the following scenarios:

  • If online access to the transaction history is retained on an ongoing basis after the relevant account is closed
  • If the current account has been closed as a result of
    • fraudulent or unlawful activity
    • retirement, death, impairment or insolvency of the account holder
    • bankruptcy or liquidation of the account holder’s business
  • If the account has been dormant for the past five years and there is no transaction history
