Current account transaction history

We will provide you with up to 5 years of transaction history on closure of your account.

This is already available if you have access to Internet Banking, by viewing your closed account and downloading your previous transactions using the facility to download transactions. If you don’t have Internet Banking access, your transaction history is still available to you electronically but you will need to request credentials to be able to view and download this information. If you would like this transaction history in another format, you can request this by calling us on 0800 092 3300. If you don’t want your transaction history at account closure, you can still request this for up to 5 years after the date of your account closure but in this case, we will only provide your transaction history for that period when your account was open in the 5 years before your request.

Please note, we are not required to provide transaction history in any of the following scenarios:

  • If online access to the transaction history is retained on an ongoing basis after the relevant account is closed
  • If the current account has been closed as a result of
    • fraudulent or unlawful activity
    • retirement, death, impairment or insolvency of the account holder
    • bankruptcy or liquidation of the account holder’s business
  • If the account has been dormant for the past five years and there is no transaction history
